Privacy Policy
Effective date: [Insert publication date]
This policy describes the information practices of the Recharg.co website as it operates today. It should be reviewed against the company’s actual systems before publication.
1. Introduction
DRAMIVO PRIVATE LIMITED (“we”, “us”) operates the Recharg.co website. This policy explains how we handle personal information when you browse the site, write to us, or call us about a recharge or bill payment.
The website currently provides information about service categories and a way to contact support. It does not create a customer account and it does not run a payment checkout. If those features are added, this policy will be updated before they collect any further information.
This policy is written for the website and for support handled by DRAMIVO PRIVATE LIMITED. It is not a substitute for the privacy notice of a telecom operator, DTH provider, biller or payment provider.
2. Information We Collect
Depending on how you contact us, we may handle:
- Identity and contact details you give us, such as your name, mobile number and email address.
- Support information, including the subject and message of an enquiry and any follow-up correspondence.
- Transaction information you choose to share so we can look into a payment, such as a transaction or order ID, date, amount, service type and a description of the issue.
- Technical information that a browser ordinarily sends to a web host, such as IP address, date and time, browser type and the page requested, where the host keeps standard server logs.
Do not send payment card numbers, CVV, UPI PIN, OTP or net-banking passwords. The contact form is not a place for payment credentials, and we do not ask for them.
3. How We Use Information
We use information to:
- respond to questions, complaints and refund requests;
- ask a relevant operator, biller or payment provider about a transaction you have raised, where that party can share a status with us;
- keep a record of support so a later query can be matched to the same issue;
- look into misuse of the website or of a payment flow, if one is later enabled;
- meet legal, tax, accounting and regulatory duties that apply to us; and
- improve the wording and structure of the website based on the issues people report.
We do not sell personal information.
4. Sharing of Information
We share information only where it is needed for the purpose you contacted us about, or where the law requires it. Recipients can include:
- operators, DTH providers, billers and other service providers involved in the transaction;
- a payment provider, once a payment integration is enabled, where that provider needs the details to process, explain or reverse a payment;
- hosting or email providers who handle website logs or support mail for us;
- professional advisers such as lawyers or accountants, where a matter needs their advice; and
- courts, regulators or other authorities when the law requires disclosure, or when disclosure is needed to establish or defend a legal claim.
The contact form on this website is not connected to a submission service yet. Until it is, an enquiry is sent only if you email or call us directly.
5. Payment Information
This website does not collect or store payment credentials and does not complete recharges or bill payments by itself. When a checkout is offered in future, payment details should be collected by the payment provider’s own flow. We would expect to receive a limited result, such as status, amount and a reference, rather than a card number or UPI PIN.
The name of any payment provider will be stated at the point of payment and in an update to this policy. No payment provider is named here because none is integrated on this website.
6. Cookies and Similar Technologies
This website does not set analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and it does not use a third-party analytics service. Pages may be cached by your browser so they load again more quickly. That cache is controlled by your browser.
If we later use cookies or similar storage, this section will be updated first. Where the law requires consent for a non-essential cookie, we will ask before that cookie is stored.
7. Data Security
We take reasonable care with information we hold. That includes limiting who can read support correspondence and using the access controls provided by our hosting and email services.
No method of sending or storing information is completely secure. We do not promise absolute security, and this policy does not claim a security certification or a specific security product.
8. Data Retention
We keep enquiry and transaction-support records for as long as we need them to answer you, handle a follow-up, and meet legal, tax and accounting duties that apply to the record. When the information is no longer needed for those purposes, we delete it or reduce it so that it no longer identifies you.
Ordinary server logs are kept for the period set by the hosting provider. We do not set a public number of years here, because the correct period depends on the record and the law that applies to it.
9. Your Rights and Choices
The Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and other applicable law, may give you the right to ask for access to personal data, correction of inaccurate data, erasure, and a response to a grievance about how data is handled. Those rights apply to the extent the Act and its rules apply to the processing, and they can be limited where the law allows information to be kept, for example for a legal claim or a required record.
To make a request, use the contact details below. We will respond within the time required by applicable law. If a separate contact is designated for data-principal requests, it will replace or sit alongside the support address.
Placeholder: [Insert any additional data-principal contact if it differs from the support address.]
You may also raise a complaint through the Grievance Redressal Policy.
10. Third-Party Websites
If the website links to an operator, biller, payment provider or other third party, that site has its own terms and privacy practices. We are not responsible for how those organisations handle information once you leave Recharg.co.
11. Children's Privacy
The website is meant for adults who can enter into a contract. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, contact us and we will delete it unless we are required to keep it.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy when our practices change or when the law requires it. The effective date at the top of this page will be changed when a new version is published. The current version is the one posted here.
